this is going to sound insane but I had to stage a fight with the ‘invisible’ monster. My only problem was, was that I was running in one direction and he was yelling its there now its there in a completelly diferent direction. hehehe. in the end I won so he was happy but it just about killed me I was out of breath and everything. hehehe. you could give them those press in lamp lights which they can have beside their bed. Put all their teddys in bed with them so they feel safer. Read them a story. tell them that the monsters wont be able to get them because (their fav hero) will be there watching them somewhere that they cant see.

I still have this problem. I’ve figured out that a light on when I go to bed helps me get to sleep better. Not a full blown light, more like a night light.

Also before they goes to sleep, check under their bed and in the closet just to show them that there is nothing in there and that its ok.

Also leave the hall light on until they goes to sleep for a comforting effect. They will eventually grow out of this phase, but for the time being, help them cope with this fear.

I hope this helps.

I have seen a ghost in my house every few months since I was a child. The figure of a man has been clearly seen a number of times by friends and family.

My point being, have you ever considered that maybe they are seeing something?

Answer #8

My dad busted out the “MONSTER SPRAY” (glade aerosol). Monsters hate that.

Answer #9

go into your kitchen and get some water then tell them you scrubed their walls down with holywater.

Answer #10

find a good way to show them that monster doesnt exist anymore … invent a story where there favourite character(spiderman or who ther idol is) fight against the monster and wins . make it realistic … I think it will work , you should give a try
