Advice on Weightloss

Alright, so I turn 30 in a month and a half. I’m 5’6” and 194lbs. I have a 31.3% BMI. I have two children (the youngest is 8yrs old) - although very little of the weight gain came from pregnancy, instead it was a side effect from a medication. I ride my bike about 35miles a week and have been doing this vigilantly for 6 months now (I live in Florida - no snow). I haven’t lost a pound, just tightened up.

I recently ‘outlawed’ soda and chocolate from my home, as I haven’t avidly dieted, I just tried to ‘watch what I eat’. I eat my meals on child sized plates to control portions. I am about to start Tae Bo.

Due to having a growing family and a limited income, it’s difficult for me to make each dinner a perfect meal and going to the gym is out of the question. The avid bike riding but the lack of weight loss is depressing, but it’s most likely because my appetite probably increased. In the past year and a half, I’ve lost twenty pounds. It’s just these past six months, with the increase in exercise and probably my appetite, I’ve halted.

Any advice would be appreciated. I’m ready to jump back in to this much more avidly, instead of passively wondering why what I am doing hasn’t been working.

drink atleast 17flounces prior to each meal, I’m 5’7 and was 150 now down to 139. and mix up your excercise routine, as your body adjust to a specific schedule you’ll stop seeing its effects.

there are lots of different ways you can loose weight. my personal fovorite is exercise and anything that has to do with cardio. Eat about three times a day or eat a small amount of food every two hours. that will help you start getting a fast metabolism, have you noticed that there are a lot of skinny people out there that eat a lot and dont get fat? my advice to you is to do exersices on a daily routine and dont over eat. if you have a sugar craving, always go for a fruit but only one fruit so you wont get a lot of sugar into your body. hope it helps

I want you to consider two things.

  1. Food additives - nitrates are in many foods, besides causing other health problems weight gain is one of them.

  2. Cocoa - I get the impression you like chocolate? Cocoa is the natural nut that is grounded into powder, a bit bitter. The new products combine this with natural substances for a good taste. This satisfies your appetite, is nutritious and is a weight loss supplement.

Nutrition and calories are two different things. If you eat nutritious calories you will lose weight .

Visit www.healthhubhome.blogspot.com/2009/03/cocoa-sweet-weight-loss.html read the long version and read the article about eggs. The egg has gotten a bad rap, but that’s natures best.
