Abusive parents?

Okay.. I have been worrying about my friend for about 2 days ago. Okay monday she told me that she had to tell me a secret and I said okay what is it? She said that she gets abused and I was like in shock because I met her parents befor and so I kind of didnt say anything. But that night I couldnt sleep because I was worrying about her way to much. The next day I went up to her and said you were telling the truth about you getting abused and shes like well.. uhh oh never mind and im like NO! I need to know I was up all night worrying about you! and shes like well when I dont do something right they(I kinda dont know who they are but im asuming they are her parents) lock me in the closet for a long time! so For this hole day I do not know what to do..someone please help me!

oh and that is abuse right??

I no she is your friend but you need to tell your parents everything your friend told you I no you dont want to break your promise (sry I don’t know if you made a promise) but you want to keep her safe from her abusive parents. and yes that is abuse! Tell you parents so you can keep your friend alive.

Clearly that is not right. You can get her some help. That would be the friend thing to do. But REMEMBER don’t get her help without clarifying it with her. Go to her and say, I can get you help if you really want it. If you notice her starting to get bruises, etc. then I think you should get her help without asking her first. She may get mad at you, but atleast you helped her.
