Abs. Time?

Hey all.. I was wondering how long it would take if I did 100 sit ups a day, And drank a protein shake daily every day to lose fat and begin to actually get some abs going.. I’ve been doing it for about a week now and I feel a bit healthier and move easier but I see no different on my stomach itself.

It will probly take quite a while. I would try to do a little more situps each day so you get stronger and maybe try other workouts too like pushups and pullups. Protein shakes are probly a half way good idea but some of them don’t really work that good. I would try taking one once a day and staying off junk food and just eat healthy.

Good Luck!

lol, protein shakes don’t make you lose fat. Exercise makes you lose fat. Your abs aren’t going to show until that fat layer comes off. Everyone has a trained pair of abs, only some are more covered than others. Situps/Crunches are important to build that muscle, but they alone can’t give you muscle. Try adding cardio to your weight loss plan.

hey, it doesnt matter how many you do. its about how slow you do it. the slower the more effective. you cant have abs if you are even just a bit overweight. first you have to lose the body fat by cycling, running ect…any way you know. try not to take proteins or any powder or pills. all doctors have been saying they are useles. try eating healthy. have fruits, vegetables and have less meat. your stomach isnt designed to digest meat.so try to eat vegetables that have proteins. hope this helped :)
