Why do a lot of guys who are short,(not all) seem to try to be controlling and intimidating?

Well, you have to understand, short guys are horizontally challenged so they need to make up for their shortness with a big ego. What do you define as short? A guy under 5’9 or 175cm, I think is a shorty.

This is what we call “Napoleon Syndrome”. When a man feels small in stature, he sometimes needs to make up for it in personality, often to the point of coming off as self-indulgent and fierce.

Probably cos we think the intimidating part makes up for the shortness :P

yea, but being intimidating will not keep you a girl. We don,t like intimidation, manipulation, or a guy with control issues.

First of all, there’s no evidence for this. Cognitive distortions lead us to believe something is true of a large percent of a certain population just because you can think of examples (availability heuristic). And for the ones who is true for, men are judged by their height. When people are short it’s like they somehow lack power. Men are socialized to feel as if height has something to do with worth.

Now, now fellas, you are all tiny and cute. :-) I am talking about short men, boys do not have annoying ego like macho men. :-P

Theres an actual problem called “short man syndrome” basicaly part of their brain feels like their height means inadiquacy to the opposite sex and their friends so to counter act it they have higher testosterone levels or something like that :)
