First of all, are you sure it’s a yeast infection? If you haven’t experienced this before, you just might have to see that doctor.

A yeast infection left untreated becomes more and more difficult to cure, because it actually spreads…it will absorb under your skin and migrate to your intestines…at that point, you’re beyond help from any over the counter ointment.

Tell your mother, and get in to see the doctor - you’re not doing yourself any favours by ignoring it.

You really do need to book and appointment with your doctor. You can book it yourself without telling your mother and the doctor cannot inform your parents if you don’t want them to. You could say that you’re going to a friends as a cover for going to the doctors. Yeast infections are not usually caused by sexual intercourse (although they occasionally are) so you could still tell your mum? If over the counter products aren’t working then you will need stronger prescribtion medicine and it will not go away on it’s own, and as ichibanarky has said, if left untreated could have serious consequences. Also you should avoid sexual intercourse until it is completely cleared up as you could pass it on to your partner/s. Please go to the doctor x
