Would this cause Overtraining Syndrome

I know this is caused by lack of rest, but I’m not aware if that means lack of rest in a day, or if it means lack of total rest days. I was contemplating working out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I’ve seen workout programs that use this method. The days should be fine. But is it ok if I work out 4 or 5 hours a day? Just work myself to total exhaustion. I’m headed into summer, and know I’m going to get bored at home, but I love to work out. Oh, none of this would include cardio, I hate that stuff. But I would probably take a 30 minute break every hour or two. I don’t know if this makes sense or not, but help is greatly appreciated.

Answer #1

I have a part time job, in the after noons. Actually I have two part time jobs.

Answer #2

Why not work out 1/2 of the time you’ve mentioned, and get a part time job for those boring hours??
