Why wont my bluetooth work I have a blackberry curve 8320?

I have a blackberry curve 8320. I want my friend to send me songs from his cell phone to my cell phone through bluetooth. But my bluetooth will not let me turn it on at all

I have an 8310 so it might not be exactly the same.

Go to your Settings Folder Click Options Scroll down to Bluetooth Turn Bluetooth on Menu button Add Device Try Search for devices from here and click OK If it doesn’t find your device Check and see if your device has a pairing mode or Bluetooth on. Then try again. It should locate it so long as the other bluetooth device is within about 10-20’ of it Once it locates and handshakes (agree’s between the devices that it is talking correctly) You will be able to back out and the phone should talk to which ever device you are trying to use. Note: If trying to use tethering for a phone to computer, the bluetooth connection will not work to get you up on the internet with your computer. Must be connected through USB and have the Blackberry desktop utility open and setup.
