How can I get the sound to work on my BlackBerry?

I have a BlackBerry curve 8520, and since this morning, I can’t seem to get the sound to work. Whenever I receive a text or phone call, the “tune” doesn’t work. I have checked my profiles, and It is on normal. I have also checked to make sure my volume is turned up, and it is up full. My music player is working fine, but it is really frustrating with the sound not working on phone calls or texts, as every few minutes I have to check my phone to make sure I haven’t missed anything. Someone please help, any advice you have would be very helpful. Thankyou.
