Why is race such an issue in relationships?
For my friends who helped me in my previous question, I thank you all. Now I have another one.
Why is race such an issue with everyone? My boyfriend is pure Filipino and that should not be an issue because part of me is Filipino, too. Along with issues with age, that is also a bother to my friends and family - they want that I fall for a foreigner, more so for a white man. I do not like their thinking. Why is a person’s ethnic background a bother for a lot of people? Do you think this should be important? Please help me.
Race isn’t important. Like you said in your other question your boyfriend has a wonderful personality right? Appearance and race shouldn’t be important to you. Just the way your boyfriend acts. You should ask your family and friends how would they feel if you got a younger and white boyfriend, but he ends up being a jerk and beats you. Also, it isn’t your friends or your parents decision on who you should be able to go out with. Who you should love. It’s your decision and they shouldn’t ruin your life like that. Sorry I wrote a bit too much…
Well your family just wants to have some spice j thefilybi guess but it’s background that is a prob like pol think black pol are ghetto or Hispanic people are cholo and stuff but it depends on the personality relly
