Why do girls with "daddy issues" crave male attention?
It seems most girls with “daddy issues” crave male attention, and sometimes…well try and get male attention in the “wrong” (for lack of a better word) ways. I don’t have a good relationship with my dad or my stepdad, and have noticed since my last breakup that I really want a guy’s attention, and am more willing to go farther than I would usually be comfortable with. Why is this? And what can I do to change this?
Well, identifying this really does help. However, don’t completely give up on relationships because of this. Just don’t give up on your values. Some of us just end up with rotten relationships with our parents.
If you feel its something you can’t handle on your own, I would truly suggest seeing a counselor. They’re not just for crazy people, you know.
