Why... Does toasting bread raise or lower its calorie content?

hey I was just wondering if this is true or false I’ve hear it lowers is that true and also what is the healthiest type of bread to eat I eat multigrain now or should I be eating something else which is the healthier option???

It is a chemical reaction, as you burn a substance energy is taken from it, in this case calories from the substance you’re toasting. :)

I don’t see how it would be true. Whole grain bread is really good for you. Multigrain is too.. (and it’s sooo good :) )
