Why does it burn after it settles?

I am drinking Diet Coke, and its fine until it hits my stomach like lower stomach, then it burns and stings… Why is it doing that? Thanks!!

I don’t know I have the same problem with any thing that isnt healthy its weird but I drink dr peper its the only thing that doesnt mess me up
