Why do I have to have a hidden relationship with a 26 year old?

I met this guy a few months ago and whenever we run into eachother we always flirt and I not dumb when I know something is going on in his mind. The problem is .. he is 26 and I am.. 17. Its not like he’s taken right? I just don’t know if I’d be wasting my time. I hear about a lot of couples who have huge age gaps but I don’t know how to go about this.

What do you mean by ‘hidden relationship’ ?

This may be because he is over age and you’re not. I dated a man - you might find this gross - who was 21 years older than me. I was 15, he was 36. Our relationship lasted two years and I was madly in love with him. He used me for sex, he cheated and then I got sick of it and left.

The best advise I can give you is .. do what you feel is right. If a little voice in the back of your head is saying dont, then dont. But love has no boundaries. I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world hun.
