why cant I get stronger

well last football season I tore my mcl,acl,lcl,and menicous in a game so I had surgery and came back so this season in a game I tore my mcl again so im out I have recorved and have been trying to lift weights now for a couple of months and I cant lift any where close to what I could do. so any tips or advice would be helpful thanks.

do you have a message therapist or like a therapist that undergoes special exercises for you to get back to your usual strength? because with a boyfriend who dose rugby and wrestling, I’ve heard from him that it’s good to have a therapist to consult with after a bad injury!

ooo thats a tough one… your knee ligaments are obviously weak. This could be because of a muscle imbalance. You might want to start adding yoga to your weight lifting program to increase flexibility in both your muscles and ligaments. Also make sure your getting enough protein(1 gram per lb of bodyweight) and rest(work each muscle about once a week). My guess is your not getting enough rest in between workouts.
