Why doesn't airplanes carry enough parachutes for each passenger ??
Wait, commercial airlines do not carry parachutes on their planes, only life jackets. Only smaller, lighter planes with small capacity loads carry parachutes, as I believe it would be near-impossible to survive a crash in a small plane, but possible in a big commercial jet.
Do you mean a passenger aircraft (with a couple of hundred people in them)? What would the point be? By the time they figure out something is wrong, getting everyone into parachutes and lining them up to jump out of the doors, the plane will be on the ground...
Generally they only carry parachutes for the intended maximum load of people. So if it's a maximum 5-person aircraft, the 6th person who isn't supposed to be there in the first place is out of luck.
