Who would genetically design their (designer)babies?why or why not?
I have a paper do and I agree with creating designer babies but I need more pros
Um. To me there arnt many pros to designer babies but trying to make your kid perfect so… Um maybe you have a disease that you don’t want your kid to have so thays why…um or you want them to look like you I don’t know. I guess go to a site about it and look for pros and cons there hope it was a least a little helpful
That is a tough one. On the one hand, you love your baby. There’s a lot to be said for diversity. On the other hand, if I could give my baby the most advantages in the world, why wouldnt I? If I could pick a baby who was not predisposed to addictions, cancer, heart disease, any other diseases, who had a relatively high metabolism so that they didnt end up overweight, who was beautiful, smart, why wouldnt I want all those things for my child. No, it doesnt mean I’d love them any more than a child who didnt have all these things, but it would give them an advantage in a superficial world that values all these traits.

There was a movie that came out a few years ago… Gattaca I think. It dealt with genetically designed babies of sorts.
