What would happen if you jumped on a Bus?

If you were to jump straight up in the air would you follow the Bus’ gravity and go forward with it or would you stay put and the Bus would pass under you?

If you were in the bus, you would remain in the same spot you jumped from, if you were say, on top of the bus, the bus would pass underneath you.

No, even if if was ontop of the bus he has the same forward momentum the bus has he would most likely land in the same if not very close to the same spot he leaped from

Yeah, you’re in an enclosed space. But it gets more complicated if the bus is accelerating or decelerating I think. It’s been too long since I did physics XD I’m not sure about the on top of the bus thing now though, the guy below me might be right on that.
