Who should apologize

Ok I have this teacher who is very loud and dramatic and all she does is yell or being dramatic sometimes she can be fun but to th epoint one day we had a tutorial question and I totally disagreed with the answer so she argued with me and got loud and out of hand so I did the same then she said you are acting very disrespectful and I told her she is acting the same way and she was very upset . She told my friend to tell me how I acted when she should have and my friend now wants me to apologize what should I do

You should respect her position of authority as well as being your senior - you owe her an apology - it is up to her to apologize also, if out of line - do the right thing.

In my opinion - you should both apologize. There is no reason for a student or teacher especially to become disrespectful, especially in front of other people.

Be a bigger person and aplogize, what will it hurt?
