Who has love for pit bulls?

My brother has 4 pitbulls, I absolutley love them :)

I dont have love for pitt bulls but I do have lov3 for pitt bull

I’m very fond of Pits. They’ve gotten a bad rep…but the simple fact is…they are the “bad dog” of THIS generation. When I was growing up, it was Dobies who were the “bad dogs”. Back in the early 1900’s it was Huskies and Malamutes. There was even a time when Cockers were considered “biters”…

The problem with Pitbulls, as far as I can see, is the people who own them. Unsavory charactors who promote viciouness… or even encourage it (gangs, drug dealers etc)…or people who don’t understand that a Pitbull is NOT a couch potato. It MUST have physical and mental stimulation to be happy and balanced. It is a Dominant breed which needs a strong leader…one who is fair…and consistant…and no nonsense. A dominant breed is simply a dog who will take over the leadership role (as mother nature intended it to do), when leadership is not provided by the owner. I don’t suggest a Pitbull for a first time owner…but I also wouldn’t suggest a German Shepherd, a Rottie, a Dobe, or a Mastiff for a first time owner.

It also has not escaped my notice, that these same unsavory or ignorant people can never have just one…they seem to have 2 or 3 dogs…a pack…and no control of any of them.

Pick up the book “The Pitbull Placebo” by Karen Delise…THEN talk to your family…you will have a full understanding of how, where, when and why the Pitbull has gotten such an unfair rap…and be able to state your arguement with conviction, no matter what they try to toss out at you. You can probably pick it up at Amazon in the used book section for $20 or so.

I have one I hate it because I hate pitbulls(brothers dog)anyway it depends on how to train them to be visious Orr sweet(but don’t think sweet will happen)

This is a great site with a vast amount of honest pit bull information. The breed gets a bad rep due to bad owners.

pit’s are not bad , my friend had a pit that had baby’s and I helpd him take good care of them, as long as you take good care of the dog , good luck on getting one
