Where in the bible does it say being gay is a sin?

Okay, I have read the bible and read all of the afformentioned passages, and the bible does not say being gay is a sin, it says that practicing being gay is a sin first of all. Second of all, there is a loophole. Remember Jesus, the one who said let him who is sinless cast the first stone? Well, the point is none of us are sinless, and we all need forgiveness no matter what our sexual orientation.

I’m not a Christian, but I do know the basics of the religion.

If you have a relationship with God, then he’s the only one who can tell you what is a sin and what isn’t. It’d be nice if the Bible was a direct link to God, but it’s been edited and reprinted and edited again by humans. Since humans are all sinners and come short of the glory of God, then their reprinted bibles fall short as well, since nothing we do is perfect in the eyes of the Lord.

So really, it’s up to you to gauge if God thinks it is a sin. Also keep in mind a few things. One is that Jesus said that whoever believes in him and has faith is forgiven, so even if being gay is a sin, if you want him to save you he will. Another thing is that just because some other Christians say that God thinks homosexuality is a sin, doesn’t mean that it is. Again, theses are imperfect people reading imperfect bibles.

There’s also a passage in Romans that refers to homosexuality. But I can’t imagine why people take the ramblings of lunatic ancient cult leaders seriously thousands of years after those men have been consumed by worms.
