Being “gay or lez or bi” is not only against the Bible; but it is also against nature. It just isn’t natural. Some try to justify it and say they were “born gay”, etc. I want you to think about this: if someone is born; and as growing up as a child they “feel” desires to be violent, to kill animals for fun, to stick knives in their brother or sister; (or whatever)… if someone is a rapist, murderer or serial killer, they MUST have had the desire to do those things…but does that make those desires normal or right? Of course not. Just because someone wants to commit adultery, doesn’t justify and make it not sin. If someone wants to steal, it is still wrong to steal. A person’s desire to do certain things doesn’t remove the fact that those things are wrong. All sin is wrong, and men may justify it, but God never does. If it were normal to be “gay” then it wouldn’t be an issue, it would have always been normal to everyone, and they would be able to have children together just like NORMAL, heterosexual couples. Yes, it is a sin. God never intended for a man to have sex with a man, nor a woman with a woman, it goes completely against his laws.

but IT ALSO SAYS

‘Women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says.’ (1 Corinthians 14:34)

‘But if … evidences of virginity are not found for the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones…’ (Deuteronomy 22:20,21)

so unless you believe every woman who has sex before she is married should die…

For more liberal Christians, it’s not as big of a deal as most other things that are considered to be sings. For stricter Christians, it’s considered as a horrible act against God. Personally, I’m a Christian, and I think that God creates people to be certain ways and to behave and love in certain ways for a reason. I support all homosexual people, and I think it is a sin to hate gays for being who they are and to use your religion to justify that hatred. As far as being gay being against the Bible, in some books of the Bible it is mentioned as being an “abomination”. I believe that the people who wrote the Bible were doing so in God’s interest and were writing down God’s words, but at times they may not have been able to help themselves from including the beliefs of the time that they lived in in what they wrote. Women were also put down in the Bible and were viewed as weaker, lesser beings. We now know that that is not true and it I think that it is the same thing for homosexuals.

First off..I can only say this. who cares? Second, what id like Cain and Abel were gay or something? you know..Jesus disappeares for a few years..for all we know he could be doing some guy/s let alone the other way around..if your gay and really into god..the best thing you can do is throw the bible behind you and say who cares.

We are natural beings, everything we do is according to nature. If you mean that it’s against human nature, obviously it isn’t, since LOT’s of humans engage in it.

The illogic of your argument is quite obvious. It is not the normalcy of the act. Violence violates the rights of the victim. Who are the victims of being gay?

Sin is a man made concept, and has nothing to do with our laws. Laws are designed to protect people, not inhibit peoples behavior.

so you are equating homosexuals to rapists, murderers, serial killers…

perhaps you also agree with the statement that homosexuals contract AIDS because of their sin?

Nopers! that story I believe was misinterpreted the guy offered his two virgin daughters against their wills to be raped by men who were going to do the do with each other. True the town of Sodom was destroyed, only him & his daughter survived, but still he was punished. Think of it, his 2 daughters induced him into having sex with them when he as drunk. When they got pregnant he’ld have to remember his sin over & over. I’ld rather die than to feel the shame. It doesn’t say anything about being gay homosexual is a sin.

Homosexuality against nature, eh? Better tell the animals that because, from what can be readily observed in nature, all sorts of animals are enjoying homosexual activities. And yes, in many cases it appears that pleasure is the main (if not sole) motivation. The nature argument just won’t work.

Now if you want to argue against homosexuality from the Bible, that’s easy. There are a few passages that speak clearly against gays. However, why would you want to adopt the morals of ancient barbaric tribes? That just doesn’t make good sense either.

I’m sure that Christians have found it in the Bible somewhere. If you aren’t religious, then don’t worry about it and if you are religious than you’ll probably go to Hell. Oh! I think you can ask God to accept you as his personal savior and then you go to Heaven. Wait, God has to accept you. Oh, just be who you are and don’t worry about the Bible, God and Religion stuff. Some preachers often quote Leviticus 20:13 against gay and lesbian people, which says…

“If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.” (Leviticus 20:13)

Let’s now take a look at other verses that are in the same book as the above verse. This exercise proves that those preachers who are so enthusiastic about quoting Leviticus 20:13 become awfully quiet when it comes to other verses. Far from being about faith, this is really about the desires of certain preachers to promote religious prejudice against gay and lesbian people…

“For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him.” (Leviticus 20:9)

Imagine what would happen today if we killed every child who was disrespectful to his parents. Most preachers conveniently choose to ignore this verse, which is merely 3 verses before Leviticus 20:13.

“If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has discovered her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from her people.” (Leviticus 20:18)

Imagine what would happen today if we deported every man and woman who had ever had sex together while the woman was having her period (which is exactly what the above verse commands). Most preachers choose to ignore this verse, which is merely 5 verses after Leviticus 20:13.

“Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.” (Leviticus 25:44-45)

Did you ever wonder where racist Southerners and even the Supreme Court in the 1800’s got the idea that slaves were just “property” and not people?

From the above verse, which most preachers, in their picking and choosing, choose to completely ignore. Or, maybe someone should ask those preachers if they support slavery, as does this verse.

Those Southerners were still racist, even though they were quoting the Bible to support their racism, just like some preachers quote Leviticus 20:13 to support THEIR bigotry against gay and lesbian people.

“Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.” (Leviticus 19:27)

Almost no preacher has never preached against the evils of shaving as they choose to completely ignore this verse as well. But that’s what many anti-gay preachers do…they pick and choose what to believe. So much for being a “Bible believing” Christian, as many often claim to be.

“At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts.” (Deuteronomy 15:1)

Imagine the chaos that would befall the American economy if the United States Government decided to “cancel” all debts every seven years. It would be an unmitigated disaster, which is probably why most anti-gay preachers quietly choose to ignore this verse, too.

“If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of the town. They shall say to the elders, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death…” (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)

If anti-gay preachers were to tell parents to bring their disrespectful children to City Hall headquarters to be stoned, they’d probably lose their entire following, which is why they also choose to ignore this verse, too.

“…do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear material woven of two kinds of material.” (Leviticus 19:19)

Farmers in this country almost always grow more than one kind of crop in their fields, so most anti-gay preachers choose to ignore this verse as well. If they were to preach against farmers, they’d be in an uproar.

Most anti-gay preachers also ignore the Biblical command to not wear clothes that have two different kinds of material. I could be wrong, but the shirts that these preachers are often seen wearing must be a cotton/polyester blend, the most common in the United States of America. Yes, they choose to ignore this verse, too. “Bible believing” Christians? Hardly. They’re one of those “pick and choose” Christians.

In conclusion…

What does this all mean? It means that most anti-gay preachers really ARE bigots even though they quote the Bible to back up their bigotry against gay and lesbian people. They pick and choose what parts of the Bible justify their condemnation of gay and lesbian people and ignore those which do not.

They quote the Bible against gay and lesbian people but conveniently choose to ignore verses that are in the very same chapter as the ones they quote. You have to understand, bigots usually ALWAYS use out-of-context facts (“non-sequiturs”) and half-truths to justify their bigotry.

No there ist anything in the Bible about being a homsexual its never mentioned, Or wrather its never told to man by God or his son Jesus. True in the Bible it does say that if a man is to lay with another man as he would a women this is an abomination, but this is coming from a man (moses) Who also said in the same chapter of the Bible that a Women should never have a period, and that shellfish is the food of satin its just a story in the Bible telling us to be mindful of our Descisions because God is present in every thing we do. In other words Its not the type of fish its how you eat it now try to put that same concept to Homosexuality. Hope this helped:)
