where can I volunteer at

I love animal and I was thinking about volunteering at a shelter but I dont know any shelter in my town ( peoria Illinois) if ya can find the shelter in peoria for me that would be great could ya put the name of the shelter to thank

Umm…I can tell you that the Humane Societies and ASPCA’S all across the US are always looking for volunteers to help walking dogs, playing with the animals for excercise, feeding tje animals and even helping with things in the office. As for age, each may have individual guidelines for their facility. I believe those younger than the age they specify MAY get waivers signed by their parents granting them permission to help out there.

As for finding the shelter closest to u, you r on your own. I can say dial 411 and ask for the Humane Society or ASPCA or SPCA. you should be able to locate one of them
