When should I expect to hear from him?

I saw my boyfriend yesterday and we spoke on the phone last night. I know it’s not always his job to contact me but it’s usually me who contacts him first and I seem to be me giving a lot and not getting much in return. I was wondering when (if he cares) would you next expect to hear from your partner if you was me? I was thinking because I know he’s not busy that he should contact me by calling or texting me by Saturday. Do you think a text counts as trying to contact someone?We’ve been dating for 2 months.

Since you said it is in fact you usually contacting him - its probley become something thats he used to, kind of a routine if you look at it that way. If from the beginning of the relationship it switched from you and him, he’d probley call you more often. But it seems that you have kind of taken on that role so now that’s something hes used to - it doesn’t at all mean he doesn’t care. If its something that is bothering you in some sort of way than you should talk to him and tell him you’d like him to take on a role in contacting you instead. I mean if I was dating someone and they were always the one calling me, I’m probley not going to pick up the phone to change it up unless its an emergency. Yeah texting counts, you could text him though and be like “call me” and he may get the hint that you want him to start calling you.
