Whats The Most Effective Way to loose 5 lbs??

I need to loose 5 pounds in a couple of weeks. What is the most effective way to do this?

The most effective and the safest way to lose weight is by eating balanced meals, and exercise. Drinking a lot of water will help as well. If you drink a lot of juice, or non-diet soft drinks, back off of them some. Continue drinking juice it is good for you, but count those calories taken from that into your total for the day. As a teenager you are still growing so be careful in reducing your caloric intake to much. Do not go below 1500 a day. I say this because you are still growing and your body needs the calories to develop properly. Don’t do fad diets, they will only let you down in the end. Eating healthy, and exercising is the best way to feel and look great. Exercise means something that elevates your heart rate for an extended period of time, such as walking, running, aerobics, cycling, elyptical training, and so on. Studies show that people who exercise burn twice as many calories as those who do not. People who exercise continue to burn more calories throughout the day after they have completed their workout. That is something to keep in mind. I hope this helps, and encourages you. Good luck.

i tryd it and i lost like 5 pounds. all i did waz cut out all soda from my diet for about a week an d i guarentee u u will start losing the weight..it workd 4 me hope it wil work 4 u!

Answer #3

very much agree, for any age taking out a soda a day saves you just about 3000Cal, which make up a pound of fat, if you drink more than one soda a day, well u do the math………don’t eat after 7 or 8pm and make sure you stick to it, brisk walk 4 times a week for 15mins-30mins depending on how much time you have, that is surely to make you lose 5 pounds. snack healthy, stay away from most processed food, grilling is the best answer.

but if ur a teenager, and in decent shape that last 5 pounds will come off with interval excercise……..lemme know if you need more details on that…….

hope this helps
