Answer #1

That’s Life. We get so comfortable living that we neglect to realise that these things happen and that its normal. I just wish sometimes that it only happens to bad people but i guess i just have to be happy that it was not my Country. My Sympathies to everyone affected by it!

Answer #2

I was very, very distressed when I heard about the earthquake in northern Japan. I love Japan, and the Japanese. Even tho’ Tokyo was affected, life seems to be still going on OK. I sent an E-mail, this afternoon to Tokyo unaware of the earthquake. A reply was received earlier this evening. I do hope all my “friends” in Tokyo are OK.

Answer #3

I don’t belief with it totally until saw it or heard it.

Answer #4

I feel sorry for them and just remind me to the night mare of 26 December when Sumatra was hit. Indonesian fishermen were warned before now to be extra careful with unpredictable weather where high waves might struck at any time. Unless you live far from South East Asia, Better be careful when being close to the shore….

Answer #5

My heart bleeds like an open wound for these folks. May the damages and lives lost be minimal.

Answer #6

I just hope that it’s not as bad as it looks on the news.

I think we should be founding an international UN aid troop who have ships, planes, helicopters, tents, blankets and clothes, utensils to clean water, mobile hospitals and who can organize supplies for many people fast. And who will show up after any catastrophe. Regardless of who was hit by it.

That is - in my opinion - much more important than having an international army.
