What to do after doing a small workout?

I just worked out in my room for a short amount of time, doing heavy weight abs and legs/butt conditioning. would taking a shower and stretching after help like, my system or whatever? and help burn fat.

definatly stretch too cool off and to keep you muscles from getting to sore.

stretch before you workout, after you workout drink some whey protein

might as well go out and buy whey protein and L-glutamine powder cause you probably dont have it

Stretching does not help you burn fat, it helps your muscles prepare for strenuous exercise. Like w_a_t_3_r said, it is a good idea to consume a good source of protein and amino acids after a workout. I make a protein shake containing mostly whey protein, but with some casein protein, L-Glutamine (to boost recovery) and Creatine Monohydrate (to boost recovery and muscle nutrient absorbsion). The fat burning comes from the rise in your metabolic rate which is subsequent to strenuous exercise. For muscle building and fat burning, you need to be strict with your nutrition though :P!
