What to get when you go to a fancy resturant?

It depends on who’s paying. If you are paying, or you’re going Dutch, then order whatever you want. But if you expect your date to pay, then Miss Manners would tell you to pick something moderately priced and have a lower end backup in mind in case your date picks the cheapest thing on the menu.

Get what you’re in the mood for…And most “fancy” restaurants have really expensive food with hardly anything on your plate. So, if you’re hungry go for something a little cheaper and get an appetizer also. Just because you go somewhere fancy doesn’t mean that you have to spend a lot.

Filet Mignon Steak wrapped in bacon. I would SOO get that.

depends on the restaurant. or what kind of cuisine. really nice stuff to get at quality places could be: pork tenderloin different types of fish rack of lamb steak of course - fillet Mignon sometimes chicken dishes but just order what you wanna. I worked at a 5 star hotel and the burger was the best… even thou most dishes were 30-50 bucks a plate… I think the burger was 20.. haha my fav thing to do in fancy joints is order 4 or 5 nice appetizers and share that can get pricey too, but fun to mix and match with your date and a good way to try sumthin new, if you dont like it move on to the next. oh and order them one at a time lol. so order what you like, dont feel pressured to try something you have never had chance are it will be expensive lol
