I really like this guy and he really likes me he bought me a 250 dollar necklace with my name on it its real diamond. I asked my moms approval she said no shes afraid I’m gonnq hsve sex with him which I’m not. she says 15 is 2 young for dating. what shoulf I do. hes only 16 and hes my type of guy

Just date him anyways and don’t tell your mother. Good for you that youve found someone that you like. Don’t let some snobby parent with a stick up her but tell you what to do. follow your heart, legally she may own you and it may be her choice. But that doesn’t mean you don’t have the choice to keep your romantic life personal.

find out why she doesnt want you to date him. if you act all mature abt it and talk to her she’ll realise her lil girl is growin up and will trust u. dont do anythin behind her back because if she finds out later on from someone else, she’ll not b able to trust or treat you like an adult ever again. put forward your point of view calmly. good luck.
