How can you ask your mom if you can date a boy?

Im 13 I wanna date but my mom doesnt know I do.I asked her like 3 years ago if she would let me date but she said till I was ready to get merried which was the age of 18. She lets my brother of the age of 12 date .and all I want a boyfriend for is so he can like me 4 me and to talk to the person not 4 sex or anything like that!

Hey, I’m Trey just turned 14 not too long ago. Well I think your mom is pretty cruel, but she is probly trying to protect you because it’s kind of hard in Jr High to get a boyfriend that doesn’t want you for you and for your body, I’m in football and all the guys just talk about how big they are (their private place because that’s how we brag an show off) along with gettin in their GFs pants. So if you looking for a guy that wants you for your personality I suggest not dating the kind of guys that are very popular, because they are the guys that do that stuff. Trust me. Us kind of nerdy guys won’t try to do that (or most of us anyway, and there is some popular guys that can be like a gentalman, but it is very hard to find one like that). You could always just date in secret and not tell your mom an break up with the guy if he ttys to do something bad to ya. Good luck!

u know 4 the age of 14 your really mature. but yea all she would do is say well its becuase your a girl and hes a boy! can you belive that?!! well anyway yea I have noticed guys that are just into losing their virginity even at a young age, well thanks trey you have helped me a bit!

Oh an to realy answer your question, just talk to you mom about it, ask her why till I’m 18, why can my bro date but not me he is younger, and just hang out with yo mom a lot and get to know each other and gain her fullest trust and respect and you might even gain the cool presents for Christmas.

I dont think that dating should have anything to do with age. I think it has to do with how mature you and your boyfriend are. Thats what my sister told my mom and my mom told her she could date when she was your age. and I agree with her. so good luck
