what makes life beautiful to you?

Have you ever seen a child chasing a butterfly? My son did when he was about three. It was the most beautiful, innocent moment I had ever witnessed. I cherish it to this day when times are rough. That is one of the many reasons life is beautiful to me.

I love the way the leaves look crimson and orange before they fall in the autumn.

I love the way my son wrinkles his nose before he asks a question.

I love that I can feel the breeze, the warmth of sunlight on my face, hear the ocean waves, and smell cookies baking in the stove, depending on the time of year of course.

I love snow angels and moments just watching the boys and thanking God that He sent them for me.

I love the way everyone was wrong about love. My husband and I are still going strong…and I love that he can’t keep his eyes (or his hands) off me.

I love whispering a prayer and recieving an answer, even if it was not what I was looking for.

I love quiet moments in the morning, walking to work, singing quietly and enjoying the peace.

I love sitting under the trees in the summer and reading a good book.

I love that I have seen hard times so that I can appreciate the good ones.

I love the smell of the rain, and the beauty of freshly fallen snow.

I love to hear laugher, and see the smiles of the ones who are closest to me.

I love leading children to Christ.

I love it when people respect the earth we live on and care for it properly.

I love taking my sunday school class to see the elders who do not have a family to visit them, and seeing those elders become children again, even if only on the inside.

I love Christmas Carols, and wrapping presents (but for some reason I don’t like opening presents).

I love the tears that I cried the night my son was born, for they were tears of joy.

I love the tears I cried the day my grandfather died, for they were tears of pain.

I love learning something new each and every day, and growing mentally, physically, and spiritually.

I love that my husband convinced me to go to college to learn how to do what I most love to do, which is reaching out to those who have been raped and abused, and letting them know, man, woman, girl, or boy, it was not their fault.

I love giving and recieving advise.

I love connecting with friends and family.

I love taking pictures of the moments I may forget, but will never lose.

Life is beautiful because I love it. Life is love, and without love, there can be no life, more a shell, brittle and weak with the disease of time.

Give someone a smile, they’re free.

I love to see Innocence of Children I love to see people pour their hearts out to Jesus The Earth is so beautiful and I’m thankful to know that God made it for you and Me

Life is beautiful for me because the things and people around me are. It’s also beautiful because I let it be. I try to enjoy as much as I can and learn from each situation.

Imperfections can make life difficult and interesting, but even so there is beauty somewhere. You just have to look hard enough to find it. :)
