I don’t believe in measuring up to any standards- you just have to be the best “you” that you can be. Why try to act like someone else? be you.

Mostly, I don’t believe the propaganda about those people. But regardless, I’m not concerned with measuring myself against such standards.

I think we can look at Jesus (and maybe St Paul, though he could be pretty narrow-minded) as guides or teachers. But in the end we have to find our own way, and lead our own lives - no one else is going to do that for us.

Life is good at times and bad at times. You just have to try to stay positive and be true to yourself. Jesus and ST Paul don’t make me act any different. I live by my own rules not the teachings of religious people.
