life is about serving god and others :)

we’re here on this earth to be the ‘salt and light’ salt to give flavour, and light to shine bright. I believe in the bible and god, so I believe that if I put everything in the hands of God, he’ll do something so good with it that it will be the salt and light of the earth :)

and everyone has a plan for their lives- wether it’s to be an archaeologist, musician or scientist :) and only god can lead you toward it, because we are oblivious to the path that is in front of us.

I believe in God but I do not live according to his will like I live. He created us with a soul/spirit with certain natural qualities he madefor us that will help us through life realize that what life is really about - is happiness. All humankind is connected by emotions, mind, and spirit. So if we are all connected hurting someone is in turn hurting you. Just be the best person you can be and think of your innerself and figure out what you think your here for. Btw I believe that the Lord made each of us a beautiful soul and your right, life does seem to short, thats why you come back to earth to learn more about what you can do to, what you want to do still, or further needs to learn like how to be happy and fully understand innerself and what you need to learn. Your going to come back, reincarnation. Look it up I mean thats what I believe but its exactly what I want out of my religion. It makes sense, I dont think im going to just be stuck in the ground and I dont believe that I have one life to do so much for a place in heaven, thats a lot of pressure. Reincarnation is actually in the bible. I don’t know maybe a new point of view. no pushing meant here

AWESOME!! my quote that defines my life is “life’s to short, so make it sweet” for me, I personally believe that there is a God out there who placed us here for a purpose and that purpose is just to live our life purposly according to his will. I belive it’s a gift,and one that we need to treasure.

You know what I find amusing? You say that life is full of unnecessary drama, yet your question is just dripping with drama.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but I believe that we make our lives what they are, and if you’re the dramatic sort, your life will be filled with drama…if you’re the peaceful sort, your life will be filled with peace.

We make the decisions that affect our lives, so if you don’t like the way things are - fix it.

Dancing and screaming in public and going out of your way to appear interesting and telling unfunny jokes does not sound like any sort of life that would appeal to me. If that’s what it takes to make you happy, by all means, go for it. However, understand that your rather simplistic notion of what it takes to feel fulfilled is not for everyone, any more than an Orthodox Jewish lifestyle or a snake-handler lifestyle or an Amish lifestyle or a Christian lifestyle is for everyone.

As ichi said, drama is where you find it. I live a drama-free life, but yet I manage to do it without making a butthead out of myself in public or subjecting strangers to my version of fun.

Go ahead and dance and scream in public if you want. But keep in mind that others may view you as a freak if you do. If that doesn’t bother you, it should. We are social animals.

Life is about having fun, making friends, listening to, and playing music, creating things YOU like, being nice to other people and make them happy, maybe have a kid or three, try to experience something wonderful,,, and then you die.

And when you die, you’re dead. Nothing more.

This is how I see life, and I’ve lived my life like that since I was 12-13 years old, and now I’m close to 40. And I don’t regret anything :-)
