Commonly found in chines food but recently banned in lots of countries is Monosodium glutamate or MSG is the sodium salt of the amino acid glutamic acid and a form of glutamate
Note that msg is one of those toxic chemicals- very bad for us!

Yes, Its very high in sodium. I like it very much but then it can give you severe upset stomach. But, mostly Chinese food is the most loaded with salt and if you add on the extra sauce soy or sweet and sour then you can enjoy it but too much soy sauce can make you severely sick.
