What is wrong with our age gap?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years now.

The first night we met, we got drunk and kissed. After that night, he fell in love with me straight away, but I only liked him as a friend. Once we got to know eachother and went out more together, I started to feel really strongly about him. It scared me at first to get with him, because he was 2 years younger than me..

At the time, he was 13 and I was 15. He is now 15 and I am 17.

Probably not a big deal, but it is when your at school I guess.. When I started going out with him I got teased by everyone, even my own friends. (Two years later, I still do now)

I can’t tell you how much it annoys me, he doesn’t look, act or even sound his age.. to me he feels my age. I guess nobody else can see that. He gets a pat-on-the-back because he’s going out with an older girl, but I get all the sh*t from everyone.

We are so happy though, we have always got on well and plan to spend the rest of our lives together :)

Just wondered if anyone thinks thats too much of an age gap? Not that it would make a difference in our relationship, I just wanted to know..

no there is nothing wrong at all…you don’t have to bother on whatsoever they are telling you…just focus on him and urself…don’t let anything to destroy your sweet relationship ever…just take care of it…

Age really doesn’t matter, I’ve dated a 27 year old when I was 19. As long as the two of you are happy, what does it really matter? Just please, try to hold off on the sex until you’re both legal. Even if it’s consensual, it’s still considered consensual rape and is illegal.

We’re still together :) It doesn’t feel so bad now I’m 18 and he’s 16. Thanks for the support everyone ;)
