What is a good way to convince my mom to take me to the gyno?

Okay, so I am 14, and I have had sex. My mom does not believe I would even do anything until I am married. I have an irregular period, but she won’t take me to the doctors for that. I want to know if there is anyway that I could convince her to take me to a gyno. so I can get on birth control. I do not want to become prego. Please don’t say tell her you are having sex, cus that will only cause me to not be able to ever hang out with a guy again..

well, your mum really should want to to at least have safe sex if you are havings sex but you could try going to planned parenthood or to the doctors by yourself and ask for birth control birth control pills can also help regulate our period so you might want to mention that to your mum, and say you want them so your period is regular however, BEFORE you get birth control you need to find out if your pregnant from having sex because if you are pregnant you can not go on th birth control untill you give birth or abort the baby, ect to find out if your pregnant take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after you had sex (any sooner and the results won’t be accurate) in the morning with your first pee is the best time and take it when your period is due alternatively, see a doctor for a blood test this will both let you find out quicker and give you more accurate results

Go to planned parenthood or a free government clinic. That way you do not have to tell your mother and you can still have safe sex and not fall pregnant.

Well you are very young to be having sex. I was 17 with my frist child and now im 23 with two kids and one on the way. You need to go to the gyno alone if you would not like your mother to come. And get a pap test, blood work for other stds that they dont test for by swab, plus a sawb test for other stds/stis they do test for with a swab. They can’t tell your mother/father any thing without your consent. Remember it takes two birthcontrol and a condom. Here are some websites that have information. spiderbytes.ca or sexuailyandu.ca or cfsh.ca or publichealth.gc.ca/sti these are all great sites. Yours truly, Demika Ray

Answer #4

tell her that you can get HPV without even having sex, so going to a gyno can keep an eye on the health of your womanly parts to prevent cervical cancers, as well as various other genetic health problems only women get.

Answer #5

And how would she get to Planned Parenthood? She’s only 14, her mom won’t take her, and she can’t go anywhere by herself.

Answer #6

Go to planned parenthood…
