What if my friend dies?

My firend is suffering from an eating disorder, and she has been in treatment for a while. At the moment she is on an outpatient scheme, and on ‘scandishakes’ (a malnutrition supplement) but she is seriously dehydrated always, she hasnt gained ANY weight and her organ mass is decreasing. She is getting weaker by the minute and her health status is lowering more rapidly… I am so scarde that I am going to get a call that she has been rushed to hospital, or worse that she suffered a heart attack or something and she passes away.

I really need to help her. I need her to help me through my issues…I cant do all this on my own…but I cant help her. We are both suffering.

What can I do to save her, or at least just show I am always here for her?

Answer #1

you really can’t do anything to help her health. but go and visit her as much as you can and just spend time with her and talk and tell her how much you need her and do things for her.

Answer #2

Pray for her - make sure she knows you’re there for her day or night if needed - keep encouraging her - help her get the best help available - all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Answer #3

You are worried about your friend dying from this but still continue to do it yourself?
