My friends dad just died cause of Cancer, what to do?

My friends dad just died of Cancer. His parents were good friends with my parents, but until a week ago we didn’t even know he had cancer. They decided to keep it to theirselfs for like, 2 years. Now this morning he died. I don’t know what to do! Should I call my friend? Or like.. I don’t know! Its not like he was my best friend, I didn’t see him that much, but I still feel soo bad. I just don’t know what to do. I don’t even know what to say! Anyone have expierence with this?=(

yea my friend lost his dad this summer from cancer and the best thing to do is call and just say that I am here for you and if theres anything I can do please call or come over if you need it do not say im sorry for your lose it will make them cry more just let them know you care and that you are willing to do anythng to help get through this

Let him know you care. Maybe ask him if he needs someone to talk to. You dont have to say much to be a comfort to someone in pain. Listening is just as much important.
