Change beds. Reading. Relaxing techniques (deep breathing, relaxing every muscle at a time, think only of you breath) Herbal tea. Lavender oil.
Staring at the tv helps me go to sleep. Also if you make your self comfy with pillows and blankets it makes you sleepy too.
Drinking a lot of scotch and soda helps me fall asleep. But for a lot of people, warm milk or certain kinds of tea work equally well.
