What happens if a cat bites you?

When I had a dog bite, my doctor told me that the order of worst bites was Cat, Human and than Dog. It is because of the enzymes in the saliva. The rate they enter the system and break down the tissue. That is what makes the infection so bad.

It’s called “Cat Scratch Fever”…no kidding!! It’s a bateria that makes a bite or a scratch from a cat get infected…

I got bit by my cat when I was about 7… it sucked! It hurt!! :( It bled everywhere and looked like I got bitten by a very wide mouthed snake!

After a while, it got infected, and started shooting puss* blood everywhere. So if you got bit, and that’s why your asking this: PUT NEOSPORIN ON IT! AND A BANDAID! IT’S WORTH IT!!!

If your cat has rabies, you may get rabies, either way, go to the doctor to get it checked out, you never know!!! :)

Getting a cat bite is very serious. No, you can’t die… but there are things that could happen. Cats rule egypt… as most people know, theres a whole background story to it. Find it & read it… by the way that story could be true, you could be mentaly and physcally changed… I’s nothing to joke around about.

My much loved cat bit me yesterday!! she didnt mean it, I was holding her and my next door neighbour came to our window with her rotty dog which jumped upto the window sil and freightened my poor cat to death which unfortunately lead to her biting my thumb! I didnt realise how serious a cat bite was until my thumb became the size of a banana and hurt quite a lot! As it was a saturday evening and could not get hold of my doctors I ended up spending the night in A&E!! My tetanus is not upto date and the swelling was travelling through my hand! I spent 3 hours in A&E and was apparently the second to arrive with a cat bite! They gave me my tetanus jab, some anti-biotics and put a plaster around my thumb. It’s the morning after and it’s gone even worse! If any of you have been biten by a cat, GO TO THE DOCS!
