what do calories mean?

okay I seen this guide that shows how to burn calories what do calories mean? if I lose 100 each day and I do this for 1 week

DO I LOSE WEIGHT? OR WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

Boils down to - if you burn more calories (exercise, stay active) than you take in (eat), you’ll lose weight.

You should live on a 2,000 calorie diet. Calories is basically how much fat that’s in food. If you are eating more than 2,000 calories, and you cut it down, after a period of time you will lose weight.

Most men need 2500 calories a day and women need 2000 but it all depends on height age and activity level etc. Aparently it takes 3500 calories less then what you normally eat to loose a pound so if you eat 2500calories a day and for a week you eat 2000 a day instead you loose 1pound. I have never tested he this really works because I find I loose weigt quicker then that.

Hey! calories are the same as energy…food is made up of calories-for example theres 70 calories in an apple. Calories can be made up of the sugar, carbs, fats etc in the food product. If you look at any bar or food product, it’s nutrtional values are shown on the back of the packing. This shows how much sugar, fats, protein etc is in the product. However, some fats are good for you and may not be saturated e.g fruits, veg… unlike chocolate etc! An adult is supposed to consume roughly 2000 calories a day and your supposed to do roughly an hour of physical activity a day, this makes sure that your burning calories and not becoming overweight. If you’d like to lose weight, then you should reduce your calorie intake of fatty foods. Hope this helpes answer your Q. oxxo
