What could cause me to see little flashes of white light?

I randomly see localized little flashes of light. The flashes are not right in front of my eyes like you get after looking at the sun or after a camera flashes. They are in specific spots that I can look over at. I’m not even looking for it to happen, when I see the flashes. Some of my friends (who happen to be very involved in spirituality) say that this is me beginning to develop my third eye. I’m new to this, so I don’t know how that usually develops. Although I’ve always had a strong belief in spirits.

I would definately see a doctor. It could be lots of things causing it, and it might even be serious if it is happening a lot. Our bodies have ways of warning us when there is a problem. Don’t ignore the warning because someone tells you there is some supernatural reason for it. That is all a bunch of nonsense. What you are experiencing is real and there is a real cause. Not magic.

It very well could be a development of your third eye, however, unless you have been specifically seeking to expand psychic capacities in some way it is much more likely to be a vision problem.

looking into the bright sun or a flash from the camera, if its not anything like that I highly suggest visiting your eye doctor. It could be something very simple or very serious but either way best to go find out. If it was something simple that could’ve been taken care of but you didn’t go get checked out and it got worse you’d hate yourself. Can’t ever get your sight back. I’d go get checked out. good luck to you =]
