What are the best remedies for stiff muscles?

For the past week, I’ve had a really badly strained/tight muscle in my arm, it runs from the top of my arm to my hand and it hurts sooo bad. I’ve been using heat on it and taking muscle relaxers and taking hot baths to try to relax the muscles. Sometimes I’ll try to rub it out. But it’s still hurts so much.

Does anyone know anything else I could do to relieve the pain and relax the muscles?

Do you mean from your shoulder to your hand? If so, there are no muscles that run that length, so if your whole arm is in pain like that, it may be a nerve issue in your back and you need to see a doctor.

If you mean that the pain is between your elbow and hand, then it sounds like a muscle strain. If so, it’s going to take about 6 weeks to heal and you need to take it easy during that time - use that muscle as little as possible.

Either way, it isn’t normal to have a severe muscle pain for a week. You really should see a doctor.
