How much weight can I lose (approximately) if I spend every day free dancing in my room?

I dont do any sports or anything, so this is my exercise, is that okay? Will I lose any?

. Dancing is an excellent way to keep fit and when combined with a calorie controlled diet that puts you in calorific deficit …. . (i.e. you are burning more calories than you are consuming) . ….. to lose weight quickly and effectively. . Let us first of all assume that your wieght is stable, and that you do not change your diet in any way at all when you commence your regular dancing sessions.
. Dancing (at times when you would otherwise have been relatively inactive) will increase the calories burned by about 300 calories per hour (or even more if you dance very vigorously), so if you did a one hour session 7 days per week, you would create something like a 7x300 kCal = 2100 kCal deficit per week. . That 2100 kCal deficit would enable you to lose about one pound of fat every two weeks. This does not sound like very much, and that is the reason why most people who want to lose weight fairly quickly will combine an improved exercise regime with a reduced calorie diet: . ….. typically achieved, most easily, by eating more fruit and vegetables, and significantly reducing high calorie foods like fatty meats, biscuits chocolate, sugar, full-fat dairy products etc.. .

It depends how many calories you take in every day. If you’re eating more than you’re burning, you won’t lose.

Sounds good :) i would say a clothing size if you can actually break a sweat doing this. Try eating healthier and alittle less aswell. Maybe look up online some salsa or belly dance routines for begginers they are AMAZING workouts, if you have a laptop you can play them in your room and dance along. i like doing that :)

Eat healthier and dance alot. You should start losing weight I can’t say how soon because I don’t know how your body works so just be patient :) Good luck!
