Why can I see some of the veins in my arms, legs, and feet when they're in water?
I was lying in my friends kiddie pool, not even moving, and when I looked down I could see my veins. It happens in the shower to.
It has to do with the translucency of your skin. Tanning will help reduce your veins from showing.
Well i was thinking that maybe the hot water would cause your veins to expand making them more noticeable? I also have heard that warm water makes blood flow faster so thats could be another reason
what katherine said, and u probably dont have a lot of body fat,, i have a bunch of veins popping out rite now lol :$
Errr….. only arteries respond heat by expanding. And they also constrict when exposed to cold.
veins, on the other hand, don’t respond to temperature changes. =)
