If Obama was not born in this country, what would happen?

He wouldn’t have been able to run if this was more than a stupid rumor…I’m sure before being chosen, somethink like his birth certificate would have been verfied…I mean how easy is that?

His birth certificates has been provided and verified. He was born in Hawaii in 1961.

Also, per the ad that group filed, they only need $20K to get the issue sorted…why can’t they raise the money, if this issue keeps coming up?

From newsletters I’ve read, it seems pretty easy for a political group to raise cash when they have a cause the group believes in.

That and Arnold Schwarzenegger wouldn’t be allowed to run for president because he wasn’t born on U.S. soil… So no, I doubt Obama would be in this position if he was born elsewhere. And they have to look over his information before even considering him a candidate… Why would they do it so late?

The courts have indirectly addressed this issue. If you are a citizen who is not “naturalized”, then you are legally a “natural born” citizen. Foreign born children of a US citizen (at least one parent), are thus considered “natural born”. Several Presidential candidates have fallen into that category, including McCain.

I think it has already been proven that it is eligible…this just shows that the foundation is made up of sore losers. I say let Obama get on with his job, then judge him after four years
