Why would any American vote for Obama?

For one him being black shouldn’t be the issue, but there is one problem, there are sitll racist people in this country. Not that I don’t like him, I would be afraid of him being assasinated by some idiot, his security would have to be more than any other president in my opinion. Obama really doesn’t know a whole lot of what’s going on in Iraq, or else he wouldn’t say he wants to pull all troops back. Mccain has been to war, he was a hostage and tortured, he knows more about wars than Barrack ever will.

I agree, but I mostly think he shouldn’t be president because he wants to pull ALL troops out of iraq, does anyone know what will happen if he did that, if they do have a bomb like they say they do they could blow our country to bits, does anyone really want to take that chance?

Obama is the one who promises to bring our troops home from Iraq. Iraq did NOTHING to us and no weapons of mass destruction were found. The point of going into the Middle East was to find Osama bin Laden, who was in AFGHANISTAN NOT IRAQ! a lot of people realize this and that is why they want Obama. We pay millions of dollars on war, that could be used for getting people jobs, health care or education. McCain promises 100 more years of war and agrees with what George Bush is doing. Why would anyone vote for 100 more years of war?

People just love Obama because they think he’s the great one and, they think that he shows patriotism which I know as well as you do that he doesn’t. For one he’s black, which that shouldn’t be an issue, he’s for change as bumper stickers say, he’ll bring back this country right!! he won’t do that, all he will do is ruin this country and our way of life, and lastly, he isn’t christian. He’s a hipocrit to be honest with you. I also would like a leader who’ll stand up to true conservatism and has high morals. I hope I helped.

Why would any American be stupid enough to believe the right-wing lies that Obama doesn’t show any patriotism. I love what is good about this country, and I want a leader that will admit there are somethings wrong that need to be fixed.

We are in Iraq not to fight Muslims (a racist remark if I ever heard one). We are there to get oil revenue sharing agreements so Bush and Cheney’s friends in the oil industry can make even more money.

It’s not a black issue for me. It is about being qualified for the job!! I believe McCain is more of a leader and Obama is a follower!!! My dad (ex-serviceman in the UK) says that he has no trouble about Obama’s lack of a war record. He says Obama supports the military appropriately and that either he or McCain would make a good Commander in Chief. PS my dad is NOT LIBERAL (see above).

5. He will bring our troops home and use the $10 billion a month that we have been spending in Iraq on America’s needs.

Basically, everything that is broken, Obama will fix. He is not a magician nor will it be easy but everything that needs to be done could have already been done, we’ve just never had anybody to stand up for us and special interests have been controlling Washington. Just look around, it’s pretty obvious. Bush has been the worst president in American History. And now, it will take the smartest, most intellectual president that we have ever had to clean up after his mess. Thank You God for sending us Barack Obama.
