Do you believe that it is unfair that the republican party is trying not to give the women a choice to abort in the case of incest or rape?

Answer #1

Definitely unfair.

Answer #2

I consider abortion as mostly immoral, but I also consider it immoral to tell a woman she must accept changes to her life and her body, so really, you’ve got to choose the lesser of two evils, and for me, that means allowing abortion. I personally could not support a candidate with a strong anti-abortion stance, rape-related or not, because women should have the right to make that choice for themselves. In short, yes, I think it’s unfair.

Answer #3

i am a die hard republican- however i am pro choice.

i believe the focus on abortion is a smoke and mirrors trick to pull the attention away form how big a FAILURE president obama truly is.

Answer #4

I consider you as unfair accusing the entire republican party based on the comments of one person, you are attacking all the pro-choice republicans out there unfairly. If you insist on attacking, attack the person who said it and not a group they happen to belong to. He is also a Baptist, so why didn’t you attack the church? Why not attack his race? You are the one being unfair !

Answer #5

Didnt mean to accuse the whole party, i meant romney and ryan

Answer #6

That other freak said, if a woman is pregnant after rape, then that is “something god wanted”. So I guess the same-niveau answer to that would be “if a woman aborts successfully, then god must have wanted that too”.

But actually, neither of these statements should be considered a valid argument in a political discourse.

There are two sorts of religious people. Those who seek god and those who claim to own god. The latter use their god as an argument whenever they are out of other arguments. I abide that behavior.

Also, you people still have freedom of religion in the USA, haven’t you?.So you can’t make laws that are valid for everyone based on one religion. Where is the point in forbidding a hinduist woman to abort because the christian god dislikes abortion?

Laws are supposed to be designed in ways that they are based on common sense and universal moral values.

Answer #7

Of course it’s unfair. They’re stripping away women’s rights. I believe women should have the choice to get an abortion if they want one. It’s up to the mother. If they’re so against abortion, then they don’t have to get one :p
