I will vote for Bobby Jindal in the next election if he is the candidate, that is if he continues to do good things with the state of louisiana. I think that obamas public perception is going to be a lot different in 4 years than it is now. I thought that RACE WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE AN ISSUE??? and that we are supposed to be focusing on the candidates qualifications??? BOBBY JINDAL is doing some very great things in louisiana from what my family has been saying. so if a black man or other minority is a republican and runs for office- it would be the republicans cashing in on the race card?? I thought that the election of obama was supposed to be the turning point in this country- but it is sounding like that is not the case according to this question. I am going to vote for the person I think is most qualified for the job- race or gender is not an issue in that decision.

For me the dream Republican ticket for 2012 would be Jeb Bush for pres, Sarah Palin for VP. Of course I’m a Democrat so my dream ticket would be the one least likely to win. As bad as Jindal’s response to Obama’s State of the Union speech I may have to change my choice though. I have heard Jindal be lucid and cogent in the past so perhaps he was just having a bad day.

tseirpeht, no system is perfect but the socialized medicine in other 1st world countries works a lot better than our system. We pay more per capita than these countries yet have much worse health. My friends and relatives in Canada talk up their medical care every time the subject comes up. The horror stories about it seem to only exist in the minds of Republicans.

Answer #3

For my dream republican candidate, I’d like Mitt Romney for president and MCCain or Palin for the VP slot, but I know they won’t run. I heard part of an interview by Sean Hannity when he was interviewing Govenor Gindal out of Louisiana, and I thought Govenor Gindal was right on with his conservative principals. Obama’s approval ratings are dropping and I’m sure he won’t win this next election. If he does, well, I suppose! we’ll have another 4 years of disaster. I would vote for Bob Gindal for President if he runs since Mitt Romney and a few others I had in mind won’t.

Answer #4

I think it’s basically bogus.

when america said they wanted change, they meant it, and obama’s gonna do it.

when he shows, that unlike a certain president we had, BUSH, he can keep his promises, there will be no question about who will be voted in.

You guys need to seriously consider what exactly happens in politics. Democrats are offering all these great and wonderful things, but the truth is it all cost money and a lot of it. Republicans understand that by looking at other nations these policys have failed. For example socialized medicine; if you have two people and the government can only afford to keep one healthy who do you think they would pick? Well they would evaluate who would live the longest from it and find out how much money they would pay in taxes.
