‘E Pluribus Unum’ …is our national motto.

I guess it just means to trust god, here’s some information on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_We_Trust

Answer #3

It means nothing. It is unconstitutional, and should be struck down as our official motto. E Pluribus Unum (from many, one) was the traditional motto, but there was no official motto until the McCarthy era in the 50s when fears of communism and it’s athiestic views caused people to completely lose their minds and let congress require a religious slogan to be printed on all currency and making it our official motto, which was a clear violation of the establishment clause in the 1st amendment.
